oh g. Toenail fungus is difficult to get rid of without medication. Just get your kid the medication because if you don’t your kid can be stuck with fungus for many years to a point where they might have to remove the infected nail. I had fungus on my toe for two years and when I went to the doctors, he had to remove the nail. It was very painful. It was around $ 400 plus the prescription. Im not trying to scare you just warn you. Fungus medication has to be taken no more than six weeks. Give your kid a lot of water and feed him healthy meals and he should be fine. Take your kid to a different doctor to get a different opinion. I asked the doctor what I should do to avoid fungus, and he told me that sometimes wearing sandals in public places does not work. So I guess I just have to avoid public pools and showers.
